Title Standards, White Pages & Survey Guidelines

This course covers two topics. In the first part, the Title Standards ( Green Pages) will identify title issues and possible solutions, while the White Pages detail which documents are required to transfer or to clear title. This course will review purposes of the Title Standards and the White Pages, how you to use them and how they are commonly applied together. The second portion of this course will cover how to use the new Legal Description and the Survey Guidelines (Grey Pages). The Survey Guidelines are not title standards. They are a starting point for analyzing a legal description and survey. This session will use examples to demonstrate the application of the Guidelines to problem legal descriptions and as an aid to understanding surveys.
