Minnesotans can cast their ballots early for the November General Election by voting absentee by mail or in-person.
While they don’t receive as much attention as elections for other offices, judicial elections are an important part of our justice system. Minnesota has a total of nine contested races this year.
At the statewide level, there are two contested elections for Supreme Court seats and one for a Court of Appeals seat. There are also two contested races in Ramsey County and one in Hennepin County. The 6th, 7th, and 10th judicial districts each have one contested race.
Judicial plebiscites (poll)s were conducted for all contested races listed below. As part of these plebiscites, we requested that candidates complete a questionnaire. Results of each judicial poll are posted below.
