Congratulations to new Certification Board members

The MSBA Civil Trial Law Specialist Certification Board is proud to welcome two new members to the board: Stephanie Angolkar and Charles Slane. 

Stephanie Angolkar is a partner at Iverson Reuvers in Bloomington. Her practice focuses on the defense of government liability claims, product liability claims, and complex litigation, including trial and appellate practice. Angolkar was named a Super Lawyer in 2022 and 2023 and a Rising Star in 2019 and 2020. Before joining Iverson Reuvers in 2008, she clerked for the Hon. Harriet Lansing and Kevin G. Ross of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She is also president of The Infinity Project and a member of the executive committee of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Angolkar is an MSBA board-certified civil trial law specialist and also previously held a certified real property specialist designation from 2016 to 2023. 

Charles (Chuck) Slane is a partner at TSR Injury Law, where he heads the litigation department. Slane has a reputation as a lawyer who loves trying cases; he has trial experience in many different types of personal injury claims, including car crashes, premises liability, dram shop, wrongful death, job-site injuries, and insurance bad faith cases. Before TSR, he began his practice at the firm of Meshbesher, Birrell and Dunlap, where he learned the ropes of personal injury law. Slane is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is an MSBA board-certified civil trial specialist. He is also a member of ABOTA and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by his peers. Slane is a former president of the Minnesota Association for Justice.
