Workers’ Compensation Attorney

The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking a worker’s compensation attorney to join our dynamic litigation team. Our WC attorneys perform legal and litigation activities for our Insurance Trust, draft legal documents, develop plans for litigation, prepare and respond to written discovery, prepare for, and take depositions, prepare and argue motions, negotiate settlements, try cases to conclusion before Office of Administrative Hearing, and prepare and argue before the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals and Minnesota Supreme Court. Most legal and litigation activities will involve cases in which the attorney is “first-chair” or sole counsel on relatively routine to moderately complex workers compensation actions. The hiring range for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s years of experience in civil litigation. The full position description can be viewed at www.LMC.org/careers.
