Join the Civil Litigation Section for its Annual reception, CLE and celebration. This event
is open to all (Civil Litigation Section members receive a discounted rate)
and provides the much needed opportunity to network with your colleagues and hear the local
judiciary's perspective on managing the courts during a pandemic. We'll
also honor this year's Advocate Award recipient, presented to an individual who has
made a significant contribution to improving the system of civil justice
in Minnesota.

Venue
& Covid-19 information:
The Nicollet
Island Pavilion boasts a roomy indoor grand ballroom as well as a covered
outdoor pavilion, right along the Mississippi river. The event will be structured
as a casual reception, with plenty of room indoors and outdoors to gather with
colleagues while allowing for room to social distance. The MSBA intends to follow
all local, state, federal, and CDC guidelines at the time of the
event. At this time masks are welcomed but not required. If Hennepin County moves into a high
transmission rate at the time of event, masks will be required. Stay tuned for
any changes to the event requirements as the event draws
near.
First time attendees:
Are you new to this event or interested in being introduced to new people? Sign-up

Section
Council. You'll also get a special name tag indicating your status to
other attendees.
Donation Drive:
The Civil Litigation Section is committed to finding ways to help others,
both in and outside of the legal community. At this event we'll be accepting
in-kind donations for We Are A Light (aka
Alight), a locally headquartered non-profit that is providing relief in Ukraine,
but also helping Afghan refugees re-settle in Minnesota by providing items
for their new homes. Bring items from this
list to the event or donate here.

Remote Participation: Remote participation will not be available,
however, the recording of this program will
be made available to all Civil Litigation Section members.

request that you register online or over the phone by credit card whenever
possible. If you need assistance, please contact the program manager. If

Cancellations:
Registrations will only be refunded if the entire event is
cancelled/postponed. This helps us to plan accordingly and cover costs for this major
event.
