During the first half of this program the
Construction Law Section will present its annual review of legislation passed
last session affecting the development, design, and construction industry and a
discussion of likely upcoming industry and Section legislative
proposals. The second half of the program will feature a presentation on
Construction Connection to Community (CCC). CCC is an initiative of Makee
Company and Consortium MN, in partnership with Associated General Contractors of
Minnesota. CCC has leveraged relationship equity to bring industry
stakeholders together with an aim to design and organize a Collective Impact
Model – that influence and transform the build industry of Minnesota.
CCC has set the conditions for stakeholders to collectively
respond to and support community rebuild efforts and needs with a view
toward:
1. Eliminating barriers that hinder the growth and
sustainability of BIPOC firms
2. Sustaining a viable construction
industry and workforce
