The Greatest Minnesota Practice Series - Part 1 Entering Greater
Minnesota Practice
The session will be a one-hour
long panel presentation with time for questions and discussions following.
Panelists are Amanda Heinrichs-Milburn, Joe Kruger, and Antonio Tejeda. The
panelists will be presenting information about getting started in Greater
Minnesota based on questions the panelists have had or have received in the
past. Information will be presented about diversity opportunities in Greater
Minnesota, the need for diversity in Greater Minnesota, what to expect
financially in a small firm vs. a larger firm, what to expect for housing, how
to find jobs in Greater Minnesota, what does a typical day look like,
expectations for benefits, expectations for billable hours, and other questions
new lawyers and transferring lawyers may
have.

Amanda Heinrichs-Milburn | Assistant

Amanda Heinrichs-Milburn is a 2018 graduate from the University of St. Thomas
School of Law. She attended undergrad at Morningside College in Sioux City,
Iowa. She was a judicial law clerk in Watonwan County for Judge Ferrazzano from
May 2018 to February 2020. She serves on the Council as Secretary/Treasurer for
the Greater Minnesota Practice Section. She currently lives in Southern
Minnesota with her husband and their two dogs.
