This
program will explore the estate planning landscape in 2021, including Governor
Walz’s tax proposal and potential tax law and policy changes under the Biden
administration. Hear an experienced estate planning attorney, financial
and investment planner, and certified public accountant provide their perspectives
on possible issues and opportunities, including:
- Planning for increases in income tax rates
- Planning options to take advantage of low interest
rates
- Multi-jurisdictional planning
- Options for using
estate/gift and GST tax exemption amounts
- Planning for potential
retroactivity of any tax law changes
Participants will gain an enhanced
understanding of the issues involved and benefit from practical advice and
techniques that can be offered to
clients.
