The MSBA Employee Benefits Section invites you to a
roundtable discussion on Covid-19 and its impact on employer-sponsored benefit
plans and programs. We will include discussion of the CARES Act benefits
provisions. Please bring your questions and stories about what you've
encountered and how they've impacted your work.
This roundtable will cover (but will not be limited to) the following
topics:
• CARES Act
retirement plan distributions and plan loan
suspension/resumption
• Benefits during and after unpaid furloughs and
other leaves
• COBRA administration during the Covid-19 emergency
period
• Paying for employee Covid-19 tests inside and outside your
group health plan
• 125 plan design and unused dependent care
amounts
• A look ahead to the end of Covid-19 benefit enhancements –
employee communications and plan amendments
