As society has become more polarized, public attorneys increasingly encounter disruptive, harassing, threatening, and abusive behavior while practicing law.  This CLE is designed to provide tips and tools to help attorneys navigate challenging situations with professionalism while protecting themselves and the people they work with.  Speakers will provide information about de-escalation and personal safety, threat management, harassment restraining orders, considerations for managing data practices requests and open meetings, and managing difficult behavior in the courtroom.
