In-Person Only Event
Consumer and Creditor Law Section Annual Meeting
A consumer attorney and creditor attorney team up to discuss their
perspectives on interactions with Debt Settlement Companies and the problems
those entities create for both consumers and businesses. This program will
address what Debt Settlement Companies are, how they’re regulated, how they
negatively impact consumers and businesses alike, and touch on the recent
increased scrutiny and actions taken against Debt Settlement Companies.
Join us for the CLE and social event to follow with drinks and light
snacks provided by the Consumer and Creditor Law Section.
