Samuel Edmunds is the new president of Minnesota State Bar Association; new officers named

Minneapolis, MN (July 1, 2024) — Following its last Assembly meeting of the bar fiscal year on June 20, 2024, the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) announced the composition of its 2024-2025 Executive Committee.

On July 1, Samuel Edmunds became president of the MSBA for the new bar year. Edmunds, a partner in the Eagan firm of Sieben Edmunds Miller PLLC, earned his JD at the William Mitchell College of Law in 2007. A board-certified specialist in criminal defense law, Edmunds is also a past president of the First Judicial District (Dakota and Goodhue Counties) Bar Association.

Joining Edmunds on the MSBA Board of Governors as officers for 2024-25 are President-Elect Thomas R. Pack (Greenberg Traurig LLP); Treasurer Kenya Bodden (Amazon); and Secretary Nicole Kettwick (Brandt Kettwick Defense).

The Minnesota State Bar Association, established in 1883, serves 14,000 attorney and law student members. The association promotes the highest standards of excellence and inclusion within the legal profession, provides valued resources to its members, and strives to improve the law and the equal administration of justice for all.
