The CLE program will provide an explanation of the
procedural and substantive work done by the District Ethics Committee (DEC) when
investigating and reporting Complaints filed against Minnesota attorneys, in
accordance with the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct and the Rules on
Lawyers Professional Responsibility. Attendees will come away with a
better understanding of the timelines, criteria, some commonly reported
violations, and the types of discipline recommended to the Office of Lawyer
Professional Responsibility (OLPR), at the District Ethics Committee
level.
