The Office of the Legislative
Auditor’s Program Evaluation Division assesses how effectively state agencies
and programs are accomplishing their goals and objectives and using state
resources. This past June, OLA released an evaluation report on Child Protection
Removals and Reunifications. The report identifies areas for improvement in the
child protection system and recommends changes to policy and law. David
Kirchner, the project manager of this evaluation, will briefly present the
report’s conclusions, but the bulk of the time will be dedicated to audience
questions and discussion. Thus, attendees are strongly encouraged to
review the report
before the session.
