Facial recognition is becoming widely
used creating novel legal issues in both criminal and civil contexts. This CLE
presents an overview of key issues arising from its use and resultant
litigation, explores a Minnesota case where facial recognition was used in a
civil context leading to potential criminal exposure, and reviews the issues
around the recent passage of an ordinance by the City of Minneapolis regarding
use of facial
recognition.
