"MSBA Immigration Section Assistance for Low Income Minnesotan Immigrants in Need – The Virtual Pro Bono Clinic: Training on I-130s, I-90s, and N-600s" Round 2

The MSBA Immigration Law Section launched our "virtual" Pro-Bono Clinic in February and we're off to a great start! We have plenty of calls coming in, but we need more volunteer attorneys, so we have decided to hold a second volunteer training CLE. This CLE is for any licensed attorney who would like to join a roster of attorneys available to handle pro-bono matters as well as any law student who would like to join the roster to work with an attorney on these cases.

The CLE will cover an introduction to the new clinic and explain the intake procedure. We will discuss how law students and volunteer attorneys will work together on each case, then we will explain step-by-step how to handle the three types of cases taken on by our clinic: I-130, I-90 and N-600.

After the training, the Pro Bono Committee will assume that all attorney attendees will volunteer for the clinic.
