Robert Enger Assumes State Bar Presidency

Robert Enger, an attorney at the Legal Services of NW Minnesota office in Bemidji, has been elected President of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Enger took office July 1.

In his practice, Enger focuses on serving low income and elderly individuals in five of the 22 northwestern Minnesota counties that his program serves. He assists individuals and eligible groups to (1) know and enforce their legal rights; (2) obtain effective access to courts, forums, or administrative agencies; and (3) acquire and preserve benefits, services, and entitlements necessary to become self-reliant as permitted by individual circumstances and abilities.

He received his B.A. in Political Science Cum Laude and Alpha Sigma Phi Scholastic Fraternity, from Bemidji State University in 1990 and his J.D. with honors and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1993.
