practices, attorney freelancing, as well as alternative fee arrangements and
billing models. The individual speakers in this panel will give their

they implement these alternatives, and how you can apply these alternatives to
your own practice.

private to in-house. Through their own personal experiences, our panel
will share the transition they made and why, the risks and benefits associated
with their transition, how they transferred and applied their existing skills
and experience to succeed in their new
position.

LAW
DAVID KEMPSTON, Attorney at Law Office of Thomas
Mottaz
Would you
like to improve your practice? David Kempston believes focusing on the
attorney-client relationship will lead to excellent lawyering. He will
explore what it means to provide clients with superior customer service. This
practical session will encourage lawyers to do the ordinary tasks better.
His approach recognizes that lawyers differ and all possess varying inherent
customer skill sets. Regardless of the starting point, however, attorneys
can improve their craft, if they are willing to learn how to apply principles of
great customer service. Attorney Kempston uses wisdom and humor to outline
22 practical pointers for improving these skills. All lawyers will profit
from this thoughtful examination of a client-centered approach to the practice
