Event Description
In-Person Only Event.
Who am I once I stop practicing law? What do I do? If you’ve retired from the
practice of law, you may be surprised that you haven’t arrived at clear answers
to these questions. If you’re retiring soon, you may be asking them for the
first time. You’re not alone. Come to a lunch where you can meet others
navigating the same issues. We’ll facilitate conversations between you and
colleagues on the same journey - conversations that are rarely had, yet touch on
the most important aspects of life after law including:
• Navigating pro bono work after retirement by electing
an emeritus
status
law license;
• The possibility of moving into a
mentorship role for current lawyers and judges;
• Succession planning
logistics; and perhaps most importantly-
• How do I shift my identity?
Lunch will be included in the registration fee. After the event wraps up,
guests are encouraged to take advantage of all that Itasca
State Park has to offer including visiting the headwaters of the
Mississippi River. Optional Lodging can be reserved at the Itasca State Park here.
